Get Rich - Make Money - With A Wealth Mindset

I am amazed, by the coincidences in my life; the way things align and come together to put me right where I am supposed to be; freedom, happiness, and money.  Most people’s net worth took a nose dive during the last 12 month.  And my guess is the hit took its toll on the middle and upper middle class more than anyone else; maybe worst of all on the baby boomers who had most of their life savings tied up in paper assets like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

If you want to hear my perspective on that subject listen to me talk on a New York Podcast online Tuesday March 24 at 7PM EST at www.YourMoneyShow.com. I’ll share how so many people could have prevented losing their fortunes and how they can still build wealth once again, if they just do three things.

Fortunately I was already using my Formula For Millionaire’s process and am glad to look back over the last 12 months and say that my net worth has increased by 7 digits and even more than any other previous year in my life.  Isn’t that the way it should be?  Shouldn’t we be increasing our knowledge, our abilities and our wealth with each new year of our life?  And shouldn’t we be the ones in control of our life and our finances?  Why would we ever put it in the hands of the economy, or our employer, or the government? That would  be insane! Yet that is what most people do. Why?

They do it because they never knew there was an alternative and no one shoed them how.  But guess what?  That’;s exactly what I will share with you and am sharing with others right now.  How to take control of your life, so the economy cannot take away your wealth or happiness or freedom.

I want to help you understand how to live a wonderful life and have control of your future. I know financial planners who complain about losing enormous amounts of their own money during the last 12 months?  Why would they lose money?  They are supoosed to be the experts! Are these the type of financial planners you want to guide you? I hope not!

This process of taking control of your life and your finances is what I write about in my book Secrets of the Millionaire Inside. And it’s what my website FormulaForMillionaires.com is for; to help people bust out of the rat race that keeps them poor forever.

Yet, despite how much I want to control everything, some things feel out of my control.  But, what amazes me is when those things that are out of my control come together in ways that I could never have orchestrated in order to bring about better results than I could have created on my own.  That’s when I wonder, was I ever in control in the first place, or is there always some higher power orchestrating my life.

Some of you already know me well enough to understand my perspective; that our life is a combination of what we make it along with the influence of forces bigger than us, whatever you want to call that force.

When you read about me do you feel as though you wish things went as good for you as they do for Paul McCormick; like getting rich, finding a great job young in life, having the privilege to learn alongside millionaire mentors, learning the secrets, finding financial freedom? Are you excited enough to go sign up for my FREE Newsletter, tips and articles (www.FormulaForMillionaires.com) or, do you think Paul is just luckier than you and you can never have riches and happiness forever? I’ve got news for you! I am no luckier than you. You can have everything I have and more.

You have the perspective that my life is great ONLY because that is the perspective I chose to share with you. I only tell you all the good things about me and not the bad stuff.  I don’t do that only for vanity, it is also the perspective I chose to pay attention to in my own mind.  At any given time I can tell you, or even myself, about all the things going wrong in my life.  This is exactly the type of conversation most people have with their friends, their co-workers and their family.  Listen next time you sit in a lunch room, or next time you have a family get together.  People complain about the promotion that did not happen, the lost job, the poor job interview, the utility bills, the taxes, and more. Sure I could join in that band wagon and tell you all my disappointment, all my struggles, all my misfortunes, the sickness, disease, dashed dreams, and injustices in my life.

I could make my life sound the same depressing story as everyone else. I really could, and it would all be true. If I did that I would be exactly like most people, stuck in that mentality but worse yet stuck in that exact life forever. I could chose this conversation and mindest and immediately my life would become ordinary, one of struggling to make it.

But, I find that when I focus on all the negative things in my life I end up seeing more and more of those problems accumulate around me.  And if I can change the way I look at things, to see them as good, then the things I look at appear to change and actually become good. Honestly, when I chose to focus on the good things, or to see all things as part of a bigger plan that is somehow good for me even if I can’t see it yet, then more and more positive coincidences begin to happen. It does seem like magic.

I’ve wondered why it works like it does. When more and more good things happen to me, I wonder is it really all this good, or is it just that I am choosing to focus on the good parts and ignore the bad parts.  Am I really influencing the world around me making it all good with just my thoughts, or does it just appear to be that good, only because those are the thought I am choosing to focus on, while ignoring the bad stuff? Because, it does seem that I have power to affect other people and circumstances all around me with just my thoughts when I consistently mediate on good things happening everyday in my life.

Over the course of many years meditating, visualizing my future and using my very practical 7-Step Formula For Becoming A Millionaires I’ve come to two conclusions. First, who cares how it works, because it works. In other words who cares why life is getting better, and whether I made it happen with my thoughts, or whether an external power is making it happen, or even if it’s only a figment of my imagination. If it’s making me happy, and I’m getting more freedom, and creating massive wealth, who cares why? Just enjoy it!

The second conclusion I’ve drawn is that, there is a co-creator in my life. I am creating the life I want through deciding what I want, visualizing it in detail, planning exactly how I will make it happen and taking massive action every day for weeks, months or years until it becomes a reality. And at the same time, there is always an outside influence working to make my life happier, and wealthier.  This outside influence operates without my effort, without my action and without any hard work.  Sometimes that influence makes things happen that I like and other times it makes life miserable for the short term.  But, in the end it always brings about a better result in my life and I see why I had to go through a bit of a hard time for a while in order to have an even better life experience in the end.

So, is it magic? Or is it because I chose to focus on the good, visualize the life I want, make plans, take action, never give up, and when things don’t go my way, keep hope, look for the good and keep moving toward my dreams?

Only you can answer this for yourself. All I know is when you use the process I share in my books and website, it works.  People do become happier, more free and wealthy.

Paul,

You stated “Why would we ever put it (control of our life and finances) in the hands of the economy, or our employer, or the government? That would be insane! Yet that is what most people do. Why?”

Could it be that most people prefer someone else to do their thinking and make decisions for them? They allow the mass media, political leaders, financial “experts’ and religious leaders to tell them how to think, feel and act. After all, self-reliance entails taking full responsibility for your life.

This frightens most people. Self-reliance means you have no one to blame but yourself when things don’t go according to plan. It is much easier to allow to leaders of the group to make the decisions. Then when things go wrong you can either blame them or allow them to blame others.

I admire the fact that you attempt to bring people out of their illusions. Your article focused on that. Your excellent book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” puts forth a solid plan for the individual to take full responsibility for his financial condition and take the appropriate steps to achieve wealth and prosperity.

I noticed that individuals such as you don’t waste time with the self-indulgence of pessimism and negativity. You obviously believe that “Adversity has within it the seeds of an equivalent or greater benefit.”

Thanks Paul
